Disinfection Procedures During COVID-19

At A-Plus Soft Wash, the health and well-being of our customers is always our greatest priority. As COVID-19 remains an immediate risk to our communities, we are continuing to meet the standards of durable surface sanitation set forth by the WHO (World Health Organization) and CDC (Centers for Disease Control). By remaining in strict adherence to these stringent guidelines, A-Plus Soft Wash is able to continue guaranteeing the highest standard of cleanliness to our customers. Read on to learn more about how we do this.

Remove Germs and Keep them Away

The aim of our cleaning procedures is not only to eliminate the presence of germs, viruses, and bacteria from surfaces but to maintain cleanliness with preventative measures that serve to keep these organisms from emerging and spreading.

Our Constant Priority

Surprisingly enough, one of the most telling signs it’s time for a pressure wash won’t come directly from your house. If your energy bill is abnormally high, and your roof and windows show no signs of needing repair, it’s probably because your home’s exterior is packed with dirt or snow. This causes your air conditioning or heating to work significantly higher than necessary, raising your energy bill to unreasonable heights.

Soft Washing is Key

As a rising alternative to pressure washing, soft washing offers an array of unique benefits: this process uses water-based environmentally friendly chemicals to sanitize surfaces and remove debris. This method leaves surfaces protected against grime for four to six times longer than standard pressure washing.

According to the WHO and CDC, it is recommended that cleaning solutions contain .005 sodium hypochlorite (bleach) in order to kill and prevent viruses like COVID-19, SARS, swine flu, and others. Not only do all A-Plus Soft Wash solutions contain this concentration of bleach at a minimum, but we utilize blending technology that allows us to increase the concentration to guarantee the best possible outcome for the surface we’re cleaning. Some fabrics and paints can be stained by sodium hypochlorite, so we are careful to utilize the amount of bleach that is necessary for cleanliness while avoiding damage to the coloring of your property.

In addition to bleach, the WHO and CDC stress the importance of surfactants, or soaps, in keeping surfaces protected against viruses like COVID-19. All solutions at A-Plus Softwash are comprised of a mix of surfactants, bleach, and water for optimal results. This allows us to easily remove the biofilm that forms over dirty, grimy surfaces and includes potentially harmful viruses and bacteria. By cutting through and eliminating these biofilms, our cleaning solutions ensure your surfaces stay sanitized and protected.

As our communities continue to be affected by COVID-19, the team at A-Plus Soft Wash is doing our part to ensure that our customers stat protected and preserve their peace of mind. We are certain that this situation will pass – in the meantime, you can rely on us to uphold the high standards of cleanliness and care that we’ve always held true. A+ SoftWash & Pressure Washing was founded with our consumers’ best interest at heart.
